We are seeking a Robotic Specialist to establish and maintain robotic equipment design and application standards . This role involves leading process optimization projects, supporting vehicle process engineering in Body Shops and General Assembly, and ensuring robotic system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robotic engineering standards and specifications.
  • Research, design, develop, and test robotic applications.
  • Provide technical support for robotic systems in BIW, General Assembly, and Paint.
  • Lead robotic technology innovation projects and validate solutions.
  • Oversee software and hardware updates to meet CoC standards.
  • Manage projects, monitor progress, and report status in team meetings.
  • Support production teams during downtime events and troubleshooting.
  • Act as System Matter Expert (SME) for robotic systems within the plant.
  • Serve as a liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and Plant Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Vehicle Process Engineering, or HSD with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial robotics applications.
  • Expertise in Fanuc, Comau, and Cobot programming.
  • PLC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in robot simulations and peripheral interfacing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, SQL).
  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with strong leadership and project management skills.
