Job Description

Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities
• Manage, evaluate and report on warehouse productivity
• Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels
• Check orders, goods received and dispatch for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively and kept clean and tidy
• Arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload goods
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
• Ensure efficient processes are in place for the receiving and dispatching of goods
• Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and health and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting heavy items
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High school diploma; Other college credits or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is a plus.
